**Results are in** REAPER vs AIRLOCK vs PTR VENT 1 vs NOMAD TI-XC vs DD ENTICER LTI TITANIUM SHOOTOUT

What would you guys do in my situation? Looking at either a nomad 30 ti xc that’s available at my local store, or waiting for a 6.5 ZG, or better yet waiting until they release the ZG 30. Cost for the nomad and 6.5 ZG being about the same. Cost for the ZG (when it comes out) I would assume to be about $100 more. Pros of nomad being it’s available right now, and is 30 cal. I don’t own a 30 cal yet but ya never know, and my father in law has a 308 id like to maybe use it on. Pros of ZG 6.5 being…more quiet maybe? Both of these will primarily be used on a 6.5 and 6 CM
I would buy the Nomad that's sitting there waiting on a shelf.

Once you get into the realm of effective suppressors, you are looking at slight degrees of which one is better and why. I own the lowest rated (according to this thread) of the four tested here. You can't really go wrong with any of them and I'd like to have one of each...

The debate becomes harder when you're wanting to optimize certain aspects of the gun. If you want max barrel length but still be able to keep the gun relatively handy, you could do a 22" barrel with that 6.5 airlock. There's no way I'd do a 22" barrel with a nomad ti xc. Because that is my current setup and I'm 100% chopping it to 16-18". With a 6.5 airlock, I'd probably go 20"

im going to be at 20" regardless

One thing that might be useful to consider.

The nomad can except adapters on both ends. I like having the brake for it (it doesn’t help with my kids) and I can swap 1/2 to 5/8 threads easily.

That’s honestly the only draw back on the 3D cans that have no end caps/HUB adapters.

I can't see wanting a nano for a creedmoor sized case if you want to shoot much. 2 ounces isn't that big a deal. I'd do 6.5 or 7.

My reasoning was I already had a Raptor 8 30 cal and a harvester (non evo) 300 30 cal. Buying a ZG 6.5 didn’t make sense to me because it was only a few oz savings, a bit shorter and a bit quieter. However, the nano was just enough weight savings and length savings to justify the cost. Nano will likely be on a 16” 223 or if I go a 22cm 18” route
