**Results are in** REAPER vs AIRLOCK vs PTR VENT 1 vs NOMAD TI-XC vs DD ENTICER LTI TITANIUM SHOOTOUT

I had been running my 10.4” 338ultra on my 18” 22arc bolt gun and switched to the ZG 6.5 when it came in. This may sound crazy but I couldn’t tell much of a difference which blew my mind. I still need to switch the 338ultra and ZG 6.5 back and forth on my 18” 25SST and see how that sounds.
I will say once I started using the bigger cans getting max suppression it was hard to go back to running shorter lighter cans. Until the ZG 6.5 at least, that one is impressive especially for the size and weight. When Airlock does make a full size version it’s going to be impressive.

Thank you guys for doing this. The ZG is impressive. I’m nitpicking but I really wish it was coated. I know it’s only aesthetic but I want a black can. Black looks good with whatever you have for a barrel.

Then pay to have it coated or hit it with some stove pipe paint. Easily solved

My cans are coated and you rarely see them because they almost all wear some type of cover. Sounds like the ZG it is almost a requirement with how fast they heat up.

If your doing a range session, yes you want a cover. For hunting use of 1,2 or even 3 shots no. Same for US reaper, which heated up almost at the same pace as the ZG.

This doesn't surpsie me, the airlock has some magic going on in the baffle design. If they ever make a full 7" x 1.8" can, it's going to better 95% the 9"+ supressors on the market.

Stove paint is a good idea. I didn’t think of that.
I used Rustoleum flat black paint for BBQs from a rattle can. I followed the instructions to bake the painted suppressor in the oven. I’ve been surprised how durable the finish is on my ddc LTi but it will scratch off when, for example, scraped by a wrench.
