Restocked SWFA 3-9x42 Gen 1

Well this kinda sucks. I've had an swfa before where the turret didn't line up with the tick marks after I zeroed it. With this one it is pretty much right in between ticks

Does anyone have a clever fix?

Ya, if you remove the turret you'll see that it's just a ring. Pop it loose, line it up, and put a drop of superglue on it. My last 3-9 was the same.

Do these shims work similar to those they have for the fixed scopes - as in its a washer that will max out close to zero so you may go past zero a couple clicks and thats your que to then click back to your zero?
I don’t have them on my 10x so I can’t say whether they work the same but I swapped shims around until I could go a little past zero on my other 3-9.

I had one on a 10x that broke loose. Gotter spun around to where I wanted it and a few drops of super glue an fixed things.

I wouldnt be above grabbing that ring with some Channellock's and giving er a twist.....
That is what I'll do. I think it's just the camera angle in the picture... It's definitely right in the middle of two ticks. I don't want to have to remember if I need to stop short or go long on number

It was a pretty easy fix. I didn't have to use channel locks either. Just gripped it and twisted by hand.

That’s no joke. They have gotta’ be a top contender for most incompetent government entity.
I’ve got packages that have been siting in the “Seattle distribution center” going on 3 weeks now. USPS refuses to even respond to my inquires.

They are barging/trucking a lot of the ground advantage packages N instead of air freighting everything like before. Thats why they look stuck in Seattle. At least that’s what our local Postmaster told me.

This will replace a 4-14 SHV on 21" superlite for a while I think. Glass looks great the little I've handled it so far. May mount it up later today.

Do you have any experience with these and the aadland scope caps? The aadland rear cap release button gets in the way of the bolt on my left handed tikka and these look like they would fix that issue.
