I’ve got one pet load in the Hornady 68gr bhtp. Cheap bullet, Great accuracy, .030” jump over a bed of Varget. Finally have some Petersen brass and dabbling with the 88gr eldm and 62 gr eldvt. 88s showed some real potential on the first ladder test with Varget.

Update:

Varget 28.5 load with 80gr eldm sped up a little on second firing. Avg is 2987 now and hammering to 500 today. Wind was blowing pretty good and 600 was made or not by my less than stellar wind calls. 29ES, 8.5SD.

Staball Match/McGuire 71gr pushed up to 31gr with zero pressure signs. Primers actually look better than the above Varget load. Velocity at 3020 with good accuracy. Odd that Hornady lists this load with their 70gr copper cx at 3200fps…so I’m almost 200fps lower than book. Might load higher…might not. They are expensive little bullets to be messing around with. 25ES, 9.1 SD.
