RESILIENT JOLENE S

Yep sent it in they had it 2 weeks and sent it back, haven’t had a chance to shoot with it again yet.

I’ve got a couple of Jolene S suppressors. I actually love them BECAUSE of their simplicity. The fixed end cap makes taping (to keep moisture and junk out) a breeze - a little 3/4” piece of electrical tape is all you need for an excellent “seal” that blows off easily. Suppression is excellent to my ears, and there are a wide range of covers available due to standard sizing. The price point is appreciated compared to other options… I really think that they are a solid option in a crowded market.

I put 20 rounds of 7PRC and 100 of 5.56 through it this weekend. I Love it. Not much to compare to, but pleasant to the ear and cuts recoil nicely.

The Jolene and the Jolene S both come with 5/8" fixed thread? No hub to change to get to 1/2" with out an adapter?
No, they are able to be swapped out for 1/2-28” HUB adapters. That’s how I am running mine.

I just had this happen to me today on probably the 12th shot at the range. Was fouling in the barrel and checking dope for longer ranges. Shot one at 400 and was right on and then next shot was all sparks in my scope. My end cap looks the same as the images that Quickfish has. When I shake the suppressor it sounds like a baffle came loose and bouncing around inside. I have had it almost a year and I like it but was surprised when had that failure with not a whole lot of rounds through it. Its on my 280AI shooting 160 Accubonds at 2900 in a 22 inch barrel which isn't hammering on the load for pressure. After the shot with sparks, I took the suppressor off in which was still tight on the barrel and had no heavy bolt lift at all showing a possible pressure problem. I will add that I have filled out a warranty claim on the Resilent webpage so will see what the response is.1000010719.jpg

Thanks for your reply and I just want to say my post was not to call out the company or the suppressor itself as do like it. It just surprised me when it happened today then found this thread about same thing so thought I would add what happened today. Thanks for your response back in regards to the warranty claim and quick response. Appreciate it and says a lot about your company.

I know it sucks to have this happen, but they do take care of you - I had mine back in about 1.5 weeks; which is impressive CS

I don’t know what your barrel size is/thread pitch? But I was using SilencerCo flush bravo 1/2x28 on the can, I’m worried that by not having that nut like that’s like on there 5/8x24 bravo mount that comes with the can, the end of the barrel might just be to close to the first baffle. They assured me that it’s not the case…. But anyways I have since gone to 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 thread adapters on all my “pencil barrels” hunting rifles, hoping that by just having the end of the barrel just a little further away from that first baffle I won’t experience this problem again… figure can’t hurt cheap insurance.

I do like the can! It is very quiet. I feel it’s quieter then my SilencerCo Omega 300 and 1/2 the weight.
