If you have had a set of replica horns made for a ram, please let me know either publicly or privately who you used, and how they turned out. Thanks.

Head Hunters Skull Works in Fruita, CO did the replica of my dall sheep ram. They turned out incredible. The owner Ben is making quite the name for himself. He has done replicas for quite a few of the governor sheep tag holders rams from various states.

Wyo Backcountry Decor did my Dall sheep replica. I had seen a few of their replicas in person before talking to them.
I am very happy with the job they did. If I were to get another sheep replica made, they would most likely be my first choice.

I had one person recommend Zach Kenner, but I haven't seen any of his replicas in person yet.

WYO Backcountry Decor would be my recommendation, as well. I had them build me a replica skull plate to use for my ram mount so I could keep the skull intact. It was perfect.

I’m using https://www.trappermanantlers.com/ to do my replica. I dropped it off in person and thought the replicas he had there at his shop were very good and am happy with my choice.

Cost wasn’t my biggest consideration, but it does help that he was almost half the price of the place that everyone else is recommending and his timeline was a bit quicker as well.

With the wait time that they have I don’t think their prices are scaring away too many people though.

Looked at a lot of examples and the only way you can tell who is really good is by looking at the original right beside the replica,

Other replicas I've seen don't match the weight, They have a hollow feel or almost feel like foam. Wyo Backcountry Decore's nail the look and the weight of real horns. Part of the reason his cost more is the material to match the weight. The biggest problem is deciding to mount the real horns or the replica.

The ones from Trapperman are very close in weight to the original horns. I looked at several in his shop and they matched the original very well. I was able to pick them up and they were solid.

I’m sure the Wyo Backcountry ones are great but I think there are others out there that are just as good.

Might be just in pictures but the color difference between those two would bother me. The weathered/broomed tips are pretty noticeable between them as well.
Its just the picture and the angle. The quality is impressive in real life.

Heck there is a color difference between the horns in my profile picture and the horns in the picture- and they are the same exact horns!
