Replacement triggers available for Ruger American Gen 2?

Hardware store, spend $3 on a few different bags of springs. That way a guy a can experiment a lil with what works.

Have a jard 1lb on my g2 6.5g. Adjusting was touchy, but after that it's been great. My g2 223 wasn't bad stock but this grendel was quite creepy.

You will need to have a sure fire way to drive out the pins that hold it in place but I didn't think it was too hard. This is a great replacement trigger. Ive tried swapping trigger springs in the past but it just doesn't get you there.

What he said, springs will lighten, but creepy is still creepy.

As an update, I put in a flat Timney set to 2# and have fired 200 rounds since installing it.

It's a big improvement and eliminated the creep. The rifle shot well with the stock trigger, but is easier to shoot well with the Timney.

Install is simple, and just requires the appropriate roll pin punch.

IMI it's well worth it as an upgrade considering how well the rifle shoots.

Just completed the install on mine. Took about 15 mins watching a video and following along. May actually be less than 2lbs. Drop tested it and no slam fires. It's insanely crisp and a significant improvement over the creep in the stock trigger.

Understood. They do seem overly curved to me which didn't pass the eye test. I prefer straight or to have the notch at bottom like the jards too.
