Replacement Scope Ring Screws

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated............

I am putting (2) new scopes on rifles and am using my same one piece mounts already on the rifles (DNZ Grim Reapers).

I want to replace all the screws with new ones. Is there a highly recommended, strong replacement screw better than DNZ offers. I love the DNZ mounts but maybe not so much there screws. Had one break off in the drill hole while using my torque wrench at the correct recommended setting.

Off to the gunsmith went that rifle last year to get that bad boy out...lol

6-48 x 1/4
6-40 x 5/8

Maybe I just got a remote bad one. Stay with DNZ screws or something better???.....Any expert advise would be appreciated............Thanks

I would just call DNZ and ask them for a few replacement sets. I bet they give them to you for free, talley does.

Call DNZ. Brownells sells them in 10 packs per size. Otherwise, they are hard to find, and sold in packs of 100.

When I replaced my screws on a set of rings I called the manufacturer. Was able to run down to the local hardware store and get some
