Removing solvent smell from fur

How do you all remove solvent/paint thinner smell from finished furs? I had Sleepy Creek tan some fur and the fur has a solvent/paint thinner smell to it. They tumble in corn cob grit and mineral spirits. I think the mineral spirits is the source of the smell.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had one tanned, but there definitely was no smell to it. So you’re accepting that kind of finished smelly product from Sleepy Creek? IDK, maybe everyone gets away with it now days.

Rub with dry borax, maybe.
Otherwise hung up in a shed or garage for a week or two to air out.

Hang them outside in the breeze.

Not to flame but try Moyle's next time. Their furs also will have a smell but it dissipates over time and not really a solvent type of smell.
