The Browning .410 TSS is on sale as well, I just ordered more. My wife and I killed 3 turkeys last year with the 13/16 #9. We’ve always used 12 gauge with copper plated lead in the past, but I’ve never seen turkeys die without flopping until last year with the .410. I’m sold on TSS.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought some in 12 and .410. Never shot TSS before because of the price but I’ve read about it’s great ballistics.

Going to try to take a bird with my new .410 this year. Should be fun run-and-gun’n with the little gun.

I’ve noticed the pattern in my .410 is sensitive to a dirty barrel. Would suggest running a bore snake through between shots.

I think if it became a requirement to hunt turkeys you had to shoot a 3 1/2 inch shell, that would be the end of my turkey hunting career, LOL ! There’s not a turkey walking the planet that can’t be taken with 3” or even 23/4 “ properly patterned heavy load. Then again, I’m not talking about trying to snipe a turkey at 60 or 70 yards. If I’m unable, for whatever reason, to call him to within 40 yards, he wins the game. But that’s just me and what I enjoy the most about turkey hunting.

Lol. Man my 870 with 3.5" long beard xr's was deadly, but I've been enjoying killing them with a 20 gauge, using 3" long beards out of it. I don't miss the bruised cheekbone lol. I've had to kill 2 gobblers now at 50 yards with the 20ga with no issue
