Got a killer deal on these little mossbergs right now, they come with an optic rail and the factory choke does good with TSS.

I have killed 4 birds with it in the past 2 years, it patterns great with Apex greenleaf & a patternmaster code black. Vortex shotgun dot on top.. I have no complaints

I’ve had that same gun for 8 ish years?

They used to call it the turkey thug edition.

Have shot hundreds of hand loaded TSS and plenty of target loads.

It needs to be kept quite clean to run well, even with heavy turkey loads.

Mine was double firing occasionally shootings at targets all but once,the double tap TSS shot was interesting!

Mossberg wanted me to send the whole gun and it was out of warranty so I just tore apart the entire trigger assembly and bolt, polished a few parts got it really clean, hasn’t happened since, so fingers crossed.

It also developed a crack in the bolt carrier assembly which is quite a large part on this gun.

Again no help from Mossberg on parts but it’s a common assembly with some other imported semi autos and I found the part on eBay fortunately.

It’s a decent gun but far from high quality and I would have bought a Benelli but got mine dirt cheap on a close out, think it was $369 so it’s well worth that.

In a turkey gun it’s fine, for higher volume shooting with heavier loads I would look elsewhere.
