I have the full length and its pretty sweet. Tough gun to find. They were a special run a few years back 35 Whelen was standard length and the 35 Rem was the carbine. Good luck with your search.

If I remember right the titanium is just cerakote on those, it’d probably way easier to find a 35 Whelen and have it done. The carbines have always been more sought after but there are a number of guys that can cut/crown the barrel.

Cool gun, didnt know there was a titanium version. I have a 7600 3006 carbine, also for the the adirondacks and similar, guess its a classic. Where in the adks do you hunt? My family is near Johnsburg.

(Free bump!)

Thats a cool area, lots of elbow room. Especially if wet stuff is frozen! Good luck with the search.
