I’m still trying to learn more about the newest edition to the safe, however I could use some more help.

My 760 has the wood forearm/pump that resembles the look of a fixed forearm and has the decorative black plastic cap.

I wanna find the corn cob style pump if they are interchangeable.

I can’t find any definitive info.

I do not know the specific answer to your question BUT I do know that Remington 760 stocks had commonality with the 870. The 20ga 870 butt stock is interchangeable with the 760. The forearm may be the same.

I believe all factory 760 forends are interchangeable as long as they are retained with a bolt on the end of the forend, and am more certain that the buttstocks are. The above comment about 870 stocks is correct for the 20 gauge buttstock, but the forends are not interchangeable (shotgun magazing tube). Have you seen the price of factory 760 and 7600 stocks lately? It is crazy...Especially because you know there are tons of them sitting in closets or bins or whatever at mom and pop gun shops all over the northeast since they were a dime a dozen not too long ago. I've been looking for a monte carlo wood set for a 7600 for a while now.

So far I’ve also found out a 20ga 870 stock will fit.

I’ve also found out the later model 760 with a through bolt at the end of the forearm is diff than the earlier model 760.

I found a site that sells an adapter that will slide over the slide mechanism and accept an 870 style foreend. Thinking about it, but it may be taking it too far from original form. I just want corncob style slide / fore end. Like the 870 police shotgun.
