Remington 209 Primers

Anyone using these. How do they perform?

what powder are you using?

some of the primers made for ML are hit and miss with blackhorn 209.
they are not hot enough.
but work fine with other powders

Yeah they’re junk if using bh209

They are junk if you're using Triple Seven too, in my experience. Very dirty. I have a 3/4 unused pack I'll give you for free.

Thanks everyone, never have used them but there was a bunch of them at Bass Pro. Can’t find any CCI’s so was considering as an alternative. I do mainly shoot 209 so Ill keep looking. Thanks again

I picked a bad time to get into muzzleloading. No primers anywhere except for these, and yep, they're trash with bh209. Anybody have a 100 count of winchester shotshell 209s they want to part with?

"IF" you reload and "IF" you have or can find some Magnum LR primers this should solve your problems. Arrowhead CVA Breech

IF you have a CVA.

I tried some kleanbore and definitely regretted it. Set an alert for 209 on the seek.

I’m in the same boat, just bought my first muzzleloader (Knight Ultralight) have everything but the primers.
