Reloading logs

I have the desire to have a custom reloading log printed for each rifle I shoot. There are a lot of logs out there but none that I can find have the space or data available that I would like. I would like to have them printed on A3 size paper. I found two companies that will make the logs, but they are asking 1600 for 13 logs in paperback or 2200 in hardback. I am not spending that kind of cash. Does anyone know of a more reasonable printing source that will print on that size paper? I have attached what I would like to have printed.

I know I could easily print them myself and put them in a binder, but I am very hard on paper in binders. I cannot keep the holes from ripping, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Good idea. You could create a digital copy like an Excel spreadsheet (make sure to have several backups/copies).
I am old school and just keep a notebook, sometimes I get details like if it’s new brass
(Primer pocket uniformed, flash hole uniformed)
Definitely a good idea keeping the logs

Those prices seem ridiculous to me. I used to run a small online business and we used DocuCopies to print spiral bound books for us. Their product and service was good. Check them out.

Each rifle I load for has its own spiral notebook.

I think they’re $2.50 each.

I put a label on the front, i.e. Clay’s 6.5 PRC #1

Plenty of pages for notes.

This and I go a step further. I usually take a pic of my target, shrink it down and use double sided tape to stick them in the notebook under my notes. That way I also get a visual reference of what was done on that particular day. Similar to this.
Bullet, Primer, Brass, Powder, COAL and Temp. Once I got my Garmin, I then post the velo's. The numbers are charging wt. Everything in 1 location easy to see.

How many pages?

It’s archaic, but Walgreens will print photo books for less than 50 bucks. I would imagine closer to 20-30 if you shop around.

I’m assuming you’ll generate all the data, and can save into that PDF you attached? If so, just upload them to their site. Can even add pictures of the gun, or your kids, or dog, or pretty ladies in there to keep it interesting.

My two year old has had her hands on their photo books since birth, and of course she can tear pages out. Besides that, they hold up well.

100 double sided pages is what I submitted. I will check out Walgreens and Docuprint and see if they are any cheaper.

For that price buy a tablet, create excel sheets and take the tablet shooting with you and then back to the reloading bench.
I agree, I always worry about losing my data if I keep things digital. It think it will have to be the way I go.

I appreciate the info. I almost had a heart attack when I got all the quotes back.

The local printing suggestions sound good.

A simple DIY version would be to print them yourself and take them to the local copy/print store just to have them punch and install a plastic spiral with a cover and back.
