Reloading for a 6.5 PRC- what’s next

I'm honestly not sure, but I would assume it would be close to 3k. There is definitely a point of negligible return in regards to powder burnt vs velocity achieved.

It will also depend on the action, Tikkas are known to pressure out a bit quicker than some aftermarkets. Once my brass was formed I got sticky bolt with 58gr N565 in low temps in my rifle.
Mine is in fact a Tikka

Question (I don't reload yet) - What is the best path to get to 2900-2950 with a 20' barrel, 147 ELDM 6.5prc setup?

Can a 65prc case support enough power to get there without over pressure, or would you need to bump up to a 7rem or 7prc casing to support those specs?
It depends on whether your are constrained by Magazine Length. If you can run a 3.08 OAL some N570 at 6.0-61.gr will get you where you want to be loaded .25 off the lands. The N570 produces the highest velocity without pressure. I have a 24" Bartein Barrel 8 twist and getting 2975fps at 1 SD and 2 ES over 5 shots. It is crazy stable and a ragged hole at 60.1 with Berger 156's- just don't use above 80 degrees days. The other load of N565 that really produces for me is the 55.2gr- not as fast, but very consistent at 2800fps - great summer load as it is not pushing things. One thing to watch out for on the 6.5's is carbon rings. I hadn't cleaned as well as I should have and started noticing pressure sings. Borescoped and brought it back to bare metal. After that it was back to shooting well. 60-80 shots max before a good clean on this caliber or you may experience what I had issues with.

Mine is a Tikka. That's a great looking group.

Just like the title says- what next. I’ve been playing with the 156 Berger’s for a little while in my 6.5 PRC with a 1:8 twist, and have been getting decent groups, and great speeds, sd’s, and es with H1000 just can’t seem to get the accuracy where I want it. Started long and been working my way back with jump but not getting what I’m after. Thinking about trying LRP’s next rather than magnums. As far as other powders I’ve tried- just H4831 but it was slow. Really feel like the H1000 ought to be the ticket with what I’m seeing on the chrono. Anything else to try? Also, I’m thinking of trying some 150 ABLR’s in the future. Any one have good luck with those?
A lot of patience!!!!!
I have been messing with a new C-Arms 20" 6.5 PRC. Probably spent $300.00 in powders and bullets. I finally settled in with 135 Berger classic hunter 56.5 grains N-560 getting 2960. Currently playing with some 120 Hammers not working out yet. I have tried 130 tmk, 129 sst, Hornady 140 spitzer, Berger 135 classic hunter and now hammers. Powders- N-560, N 565, H 1000 , stabil 6.5, Magpro. H 4350 seems decent and go to N-560. I might be spinning this barrel off after hunting season and going to 6.5 x 270 wsm.
