Reloading Bench T-Track

I see lots of benches with T Tracks running the length of them. Has anyone considered running T Tracks perpendicular to the length of the bench? I'd install the tracks on the right side of my bench and have a fully usable bench surface to the left of it. I'd still have the flexibility of using the track for different reloading tools but not have tracks over the left portion of the bench that small parts etc would fall into.

Thoughts?
