Reloading 7PRC

I just got a 7PRC rifle for hunting and target shooting and want to get into reloading. What dies do you recommend? Thanks!

I have the Forster Micrometer die set with the FL bushing resizer, but other die sets such as RCBS, Hornady or Redding are excellent too.

handloands in 2 7prc w/24" benchmark #5. One barrel was slightly faster than the other and each @ 3010fps

175 eld-x
ADG case
one @ 68.7gr n565, the other @ 69gr
both were consistent sub .5moa groups

I've only shot the handloads so far and i want to see how Hornady Precision Hunter stacks up. As of now, I don't handload but may go down that path if there's a big difference in consistency.
Thanks, what primer are you using?

Has anyone worked up loads with the Berger 195’s? If so what was your recipe?

No pressure with the below powders. First time doing the painless load dev method. Notice a hiccup with 65.5 of H1000, not sure what happened there obviously I need to be more attentive at the table.

For those curious:
22” proof suppressed with 180 rounds on barrel.
180 ELD
ADG brass second firing
Fed215

Anyone try the 160 CX in the PRC yet?

I am going to try Factory CX, then hand load CX with RL23, 168 LRX with H1000 and H4831SC and see what I get ...

I should have added, if anyone has done load dev with the 160CX or 168LRX and the powders listed, I'd love to hear your results.
I have tried the CX bullets in factory ammo for 300 WSM, 270 Win, 7 PRC, 6.5 PRC none had groups that I would consider hunting game with past 100 yds

I finally got my 7 PRC built. I have the following powders to start load development: RL 23, RL 26, H1000, Retumbo, H4381SC

Bullets are Berger 195 EOL
Peterson Brass
CCI magnum primers

For those who have done load development for the 7PRC, what powder would you start with?

Barrel is a 22" Bartlein CF

Anybody seeing accuracy issues switching between lead and solid copper without cleaning first? I've been hearing rumors that makes a difference
Yes, clean the barrel and run coppers and I bet it makes a difference.

Can't answer to factory but all my 300WSM shoot 190 CX like a target gun, little groups.

I am at the same stage as you. Filtering through many posts on a few platforms my internet educated guess says retumbo and h1000.

Id go H1k or RL26

H4831SC would be better with lighter bullets

What load setup you using for 190 CX in 300 WSM? I don't currently have any of those bullets nor have I seen any in town but always willing to try something new.

What do you mean load set up? Using H4831, WLRM primers, Win brass if that is what you are asking. Accuracy has been incredible.
That is exactly what I was asking. Thank you. Do you know your muzzle length and velocities you are getting with your preferred load?
