Reliable Tents - Yellowstone

Does anyone have any pictures or experience with the reliable tents, Yellowstone tent? They have only one photo on their website. I’m really interested in it because I want a wall tent that can be set up with one person.

Nice! How do you like it? I had a 14x16 Davis tent with the full frame (not sure the term) and it was way too much to haul around and setup by myself. This sounds like a great tent but there isn’t much info on it

I like it, its quite a bit lighter than other wall tents Ive used for sure and the frame breaks down smaller so you can pack it. Ive got quite a few nights in it and have no complaints. If youre near me, youre more than welcome to check it out

I have been looking at their tent’s also but can’t really find any info/pictures on them.

I have used their 10x10 Teton extensively. Excellent 1 or 2 person setup. I can set it up solo in about 10min. No experience with the Yellowstone though

How many people do you think would fit in their 12x12x4 Teton with stove? I have been debating between the Teton or a Bell tent(Stout or Elk Mountain).

I have a sublet bell tent. I have the 450 from canvas camp and it’s 14.5ft in diameter. Setup is easy but I think it only works for two with a stove. You could do three but it would be getting crowded. The low side walls don’t allow much room for standing and moving around. So I think a 12x12 wall tent feels noticeably bigger than the bell tent

I have a similar tent made by Backstitch Canvas in Cody. 12x12 w/ 5 ft. sidewalls. As mentioned, the 4 ft. walls really limit space. I'd suggest finding one with 5 ft. sidewalls.

I have one of their wall tents that I set up up solo. It takes about 20 minutes from start to finish.

The trick is to get the aluminum internal frame with no center poles. I put the roof potion of the frame together, drape the canvas over the roof, lift up one side and put wall legs in, then do the other side and stake it in. Easy peasy.

Those frames aren't cheap. I bought mine probably 25 years ago and it's on its second tent now.
