Reliability Focus: Puck vs PBTS

Got my hands on a nice used Mach 1 and a Mach 30 FDS. My most important use for my bow is for backcountry elk hunting. About to set them up and see how they do for me. I noticed some comments today about some PSEs having an issue with the PBTS system sliding causing anywhere from mild announces to more serious issues effecting performance and reliable use.

For those more experienced with the OG 5 String PUCK system and the newer PBTS system, what can you share about your thoughts on reliability. If I'm focused on taking the best setup into the backcountry, does one deserve preference?
