I am looking for a new 20 degree bag and I see REI has their sub kilo on sale for 208 again. I have heard mixed things about the bag. I have heard it is somewhat small. I am 5 8 and 165 so it may fit fine. Just wanted to see what others have to say?

I have had a sub kilo for about 5 years, and have spent maybe 40 nights in it. I am 6'4 and 195 so tall and thin, my long bag is definitely snug around the shoulders. It is very light for the price and I think they achieve that by making a very slim bag.

I don't have any other complaints on the bag, it is pretty warm down to its rating, and has held up well, especially considering my 85lb black lab often shares a tent with me and loves to stomp all over my bag in the morning!

I have had the sub kilo for about 5 years now and can't tell you how many days I have in it. Its not the most roomy bag out there I'm a sleeper that likes to move alot and and have felt a bit cramped at times . But I can sa ythat it is a awesome bag for longevity still has lots of loft . It has spent a lot of time in a bivy and is really water repellant. I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone at the price point it is at! It also fits great into a small sea to summit event bag !!
