This little gem is 3.5 ounces of very cool hang in your shelter/tipi ambient light. I own one of them and its a pretty nice piece of kit. Has 2 settings low and high and has about a 50 hour run time. Takes 3 Tripple A Batteries.

Multi use. Hang in your shelter, Helps you find camp when its dark, Can also lay by your animal to retrieve it in the AM if its to late.

Why would you lay it by your animal if it's too late to retrieve it that night?

Could be romantic "ambiance" or possibly kindness. I'm sure animals would like to see the backstrap and avoid the hot dog parts when possible.
