I've got some cash to spend at REI and wanted to get a new pair of boots. I have a narrow foot and was told that ASOLO fitts narrow. Have any of you found a great pair of boots at REI that your fond of?

REI carries La Sportiva brand boots.
I too have a narrow foot so I went with a pair of women's Karakorums. Check out my thread on my new Karakorums. They worked well for me on my recent desert coues hunt. La Sportiva runs narrow from what I've experienced.

I too have narrow feet. I have a pair of Asolo Fugitive GTX boots which I have owned for several years. You can't beat them for summer backpacking. However, I would not recommend them for hunting unless you are a waterproofing wizard. I had wet feet for five days hunting, and that sucked.

I also own a pair of La Sportiva mountaineering boots (forget the name). They fit my narrow feet very well. I love them. I may wear them hunting next year even though they are bright red.

I have a pair of the asolo tps 520 boots, I love these! they are my go to hunting boots. I have put 100s of miles on these boots the last three seasons and have hiked 2 elk out with them, I dont have a narrow foot but these feel narrow, that being said I have never had even a small blister from these boots. Last year during 1st rifle season I stepped into the creek and filled my boot with water (it was snowing and in the low 20s) I hiked in it for another 3 hours and shot a cow, deboned it and hiked it out all with a wet foot and never got a blister.

REI has Solomon Quest 4d GTX in their sale paper for around $159 which is a great deal on a great boot. Not really a narrow boot but would be worth trying on. I have a pair and love them and they got good reviews on here. Sale is until the 24th.

I second the tps 520s. Great boot. I put in a super feet foot bed. Bad idea. Lifted my heel too much on boot. Back to factory foot bed. GREATEST boot ever. Light does a great job. Perfect for anythig up to around mid October in Wyoming.

Asolo's are narrow. I have a pair of the power magic gv 200. First year they were great. Second year started leaking a little in the toe box. Last year, the third year, they leaked pretty bad. Can't even wear them with a heavy dew.

I have a pair of Vasque Wasatch and two pairs of Asolo GTX 520's. I still have all of them and rotate them out as I hunt. I do use a set of superfeet and haven't had a single issue.
