Refurbished Spotting Scope?

What are your thoughts on purchasing a refurbished spotting scope from Nikon? Comes with warranty and is about 30% less expensive than a new model.

Nikon is good glass, with an excellent customer service to back it up. I think the refurbished products are an excellent value.

I'm happy with my nikon spotter , I also think they have a quicker turn around time compared to some of the other manufacturers when you need some warranty work done
