Reduce the chance of getting scammed

Wanted to bump this with a quick tip, use Google lens to search the rest of the web for images on classified ads. On a computer using chrome for your browser, just right click then image and hit search image with Google lens. Same deal basically with Android phone using chrome, long click the picture and hit search image with google lens. If you perform a search and find the exact same picture elsewhere online, it can be a pretty immediate indicator of a scam. This is NOT a guarantee but something that should be on the checklist while deciding a listing is legit.

Great tip.

Seems the fng’s selling stuff have other fng’s buying so it looks ligit and they get feedback and post count.
I honestly wish you had to subscribe, even just a 1.00 charge on your debt card registered in your name to be on classifieds.

I agree with that.

I also think 2FA should be required to post on this forum.

With that said, if it looks too good to be true, it’s probably not legit. And look for old accounts they have not been active anywhere else for a long time that start selling great deals.
