Redhead bone dry fabric renewal.

My outer waterproof layer is redhead squalltex with their bonedry material. I know it's not top of the line but I'm a big guy and there isn't much that fits me well. I want to make sure it is up to 100% for my upcoming bear hunt. I got no luck asking through bass pro and cabelas about renewing the waterproofing. Do you guys think it would use the same type of stuff you'd use on goretex? I have nikwax tech wash that I usually use to clean it but I'm hesitant to put the softshell waterproofing on it for fear of ruining it's properties. Any suggestions?

I've had good luck using Atsko Silicone Water-guard to renew repellency on a variety of waterproof-breathable fabrics.
