I have a Redding balance beam scale that I've used for several years. It started acting kind of "sticky" so I quit using it and went to my Lee cheapy scale (which works fine BTW, I just don't like the way you set it) Sent the Redding in for repair and got it back in under 2 weeks working like new, no charge. With so much crap customer service out there I wanna give these guys Kudos for standing behind their product.

I also have some redding body sizing dies in three different calibers which I like a lot. Good Company.

1/10 of a grain. Once I get a load dialed using the scale, I’ll load a box using the powder measure and see if it still shoots as well as measured loads. Generally works. I’m loading hunting and practice ammo for use inside of 400 yards, so good enough is pretty easy to find, meaning 1-1.25 moa. I largely don’t like digital stuff… cuz I’m a fudd.

I'll echo the OP's comment. I have spoken to the Redding customer service team on the phone and in person a few times and we would all be better served to have more like them. Total pros and they know their craft.

Have you ever compared its accuracy against something like the fx 120i?

No. I don't even know anyone else personally who reloads. I have compared it to known check weights, and it's repeatable within 1/10. I tend to subscribe to a lot of the same views as Form when it comes to reloading. Accuracy beyond 1/10 is not needed for what I'm doing, and 3/10 is probably even good enough. The proof is in the pudding. My handloads shoot better groups than any factory load I've tried.

Redding is one of the good ones.

Solid company that still stands behind their stuff. Free repair, fast turnaround, and no hassle? That’s rare these days. Glad they got your beam scale running like new.

Their body sizing dies are legit too smooth and consistent. Nice to see a reloading brand that actually delivers on quality and service. Keep supporting them.
