I just wanted to post up on my recent acquiring of a Red Hawk Rifles ( Rem model 700 accurized) Alaskan clone chambered in 280 Rem. I purchased it second hand from a friend who did the recommended break in procedure and it shoots the Hornady factory Precision Hunter ELD-X 150gr load into honest to goodness .5 moa groups consistently. To say that I am
impressed with the work that RHR has done is an understatement. This one is a KEEPER!

The rifle scope in the picture is a VX-6 that was removed prior to selling to me. I will be installing a Leupold VX-5HD
on it this time around. Thanks for looking.

As a follow up to the first post for informational purposes: This rifle uses a cryogenically treated factory
barrel and a "tuned" up factory trigger. The results are very impressive.

Looks like the Remington mountain rifle with bolt machining.

jolemons,

This particular rifle started out as a Remington 700 SF limited edition from 2010. At the time you
could opt for a new barrel, choice of triggers and whatever else you could think of. It is to bad
they no longer due any gunsmithing or rifle building. They do have an outstanding selection of
optics though.

Thanks for the comments and "Lvthntitall" I am glad you like yours in the 300 RUM. THAT is an
incredible caliber.
