Give me some recommendations for a good red dot for a Ruger PC Carbine. I don't want to spend over $300. Heck I have a $70 TruGlo that I can't find fault with, but I'd like to take a step up in quality. I don't think there's any way to avoid Chinese, but if there is, that is bonus. The intended use is plinking. Want no more than 3 MOA dot.

I put a Burris RT1 3X Prismatic on my Ruger 5.7 carbine. Great sight with ocular focus, etched and illuminated reticle.
My local shop is blowing them out. PM me if interested

Just did a little digging. The eye relief is shorter than I prefer. I really do appreciate your taking time out to give me the scoop.

I went with a Vortex Venom on mine.

Not a big Vortex fan. But I am a fan of their warranty when it comes to electronics. Since I know nothing about RD’s I went with a Vortex something or other in the $200 range.

Have the same carbine. VERY pleased with a HoloSun...think it's a 510. Wife loves it. I am floored with HoloSun products. They adjust and track for sight in very well. Seems to stay zero'd. Has Shake Awake. And Sage Dynamics tests the schit out of them and they seem to keep working. Lotta bang for the buck. Plug and play. Battery lasting several years thus far. Time to change it, but I just checked it and it's fully functional.

Sits on her side of the bed with a 1000 lumen light and 30 round mag. Lots to like there.

I appreciate the recommendations. Ordered a Romeo 5 from PSA Sunday and got it in today. Got it mounted up. Assuming it behaves as it's supposed to getting it sighted in, I am going to love it. $119 is a great price.
