Looking for recommendations on an inexpensive Red Dot for my kids .410 turkey gun. Not looking to break the bank, and don't want a cheapy either.

I'm a self admitted vortex hater, but for my 20 gauge turkey gun I used one of their red dots. A lot of companies match their warranty on scopes but not electronics. Plus I still have irons for a witness and backup should it fail so it won't ruin a hunt like a scope would

Edit: I think that athlon which Doug shared also has a lifetime warranty

Holosun really is king of the good budget red dot. Lots of models to choose from but a 403b or a 407c would be my general picks.

Might want to check out the glass before buying. I was never impressed with mine
I wouldn’t say 1x red dots have a good glass qualifier unless you are shooting them with night vision or using a magnifier. You should be shooting them both eyes open anyway. They are still $150-$225 optics and I’m not sure what else is better until you spend 2-3x as much or seriously compromise durability.

I shoot target focus, but the glass still sucks. Sig has better glass, even the cyelee chameleon has way better glass
