Recovering Arrows... If this keeps up bullets are cheaper! :)

Recover? I do my best and find most but grass and CRP can swallow an arrow. If it results in a kill then I will chalk it up to cost of success.

Yes I missed some deer. Didn't miss a one with a bow... And took one standing, unsupported with the same gun at nearly 200. Have missed plenty of things over my life. Happens. And I always try to work the problem to figure it out.

I love guys who think they know what SF or special ops peopled do or don't do (you probably subscribe to SOF magazine or some crap like that!). You don't think they brag or run their mouth... Have you listened to any of the navy seals lately. Clearly you also have never spent time at an SF bar. Too funny.

I can keep this up all day. If you think your crap bothers me it doesn't. It actually amuses me...

Some people must be insecure...

Rare as in I have shot a freaking lot... so if I have shot let's say a million times and I missed 100, that's rare.... Plenty as in for my shooting I have missed and to me missing anytime is plenty. As far as hunting goes, I have missed 4 deer (3 this year, and I believe I understand why now, one of those 4 I may have just lost the blood trail on), 1 turkey (was pushing the limits of my 3" shell)... Rare and plenty are subjective not objective terms... so yes a person and both miss rarely (in contrast to the times they have shot) and plenty (in contrast to their own standards). See the subjectivism. If I shoot a million times miss 100, that's rare. If 1 time is more than I want that's plenty.

But I guess you slept through english like you slept through ballistics 101...

I guess that's subjective as well.

Like if it's not an x, that a miss?

What about an elk shot in the ass? Miss?

Deer liver shot?

When I make a poor shot, I usually still call it a miss, since I didn't hit where I was aiming.


And normally shooting at a turkey past range doesn't equate to a miss, just a wounded bird.

How bout you just act like a normal person on here and knock off the chest thumping and calling us all dumbasses for trying to help you and stick around and learn something by actually listening to what people are telling you and teach us some things too in the process.
