I’ve been happy with the Kings Preacher pant. Can get them on sale fairly regular. Probably my favorite all around pant

I have the mountain, timberline, ascent. Not a Sitka hater, but never wore knee pads as they were noticeable. SG feels way better, I keep the knee pads in there all the time now. Forget they are there

with knee pads? The DeHaviland Lites. However, the best true hot weather pants don't have knee pads (because they are too hot): Kuiu Tiburon or First Lite Trace.
