I wish somebody would do a recoil test on a bunch of suppressors. I just saw a test where the tested recoil on a bunch of different calibers to show the difference in recoil. I would be nice to see this done with rifles that weighed the same and different suppressors on them. If there are test results if haven't been able to find them

You realize the problem with that would be unless you used the same exact host as the test, it likely wouldn’t be a good proxy for results you’d personally get?

I should have said with one rifle shoot different suppressors on a recoil scale. Pick one rifle, say a 308, and put 5-8 different suppressors on it and compare recoil

This is a great comparo. Would love to see how the NHS fits in that mix.

Interesting…. Getting some decent recoil reduction by adding the brake to the suppressor while still getting some sound reduction without the concussive effects of a brake only.
Good to have that option when selecting a muzzle device.

I have a Nomad Ti with a Recoil X Gen 2 brake on it. The recoil reduction is noticeable on my 20” Tikka Roughtech .308 but it will ring your ears even when outdoors. It’s still 100% better than a brake or bare muzzle, but there is also a noticeable difference in sound at the shooter’s ear as well.
