Recoil pad for m77 Hawkeye African

I was wondering if anyone recommended a specific recoil pad instead of the useless Ruger pad on the M77 Hawkeye African in 35 Whelen? Read good things on Kick Eez and the Pachmayr . Anything else to look at?

The two you listed are the only two I have ever seen anyone run on those M77s or older RSMs in larger "big bore" calibers.

Kickeez and pachmayr decelerator pads are both sorbothane. Very soft, very good at reducing recoil. I dont believe anyone that says they can tell the difference based on recoil. (Regular pachmayr non-decelerator pads are different, they are not as soft). Pretty sure you can get one or the other in a red color if you want that look.
