Grim Reaper Whitetail Special. I’m interested in the IW W100s. Id really like to tune my bow for fixed and mechanicals.
Your probably going a little fast for an IW. You may get away with that fixed blade from Evolution Outdoors, or maybe the Grim Reaper Micro Hades. I'm assuming your using Blazers?

I push big mechs through the T of whitetails scapulas every year with blazers on the back of my arrows. My arrows aren’t crazy heavy or crazy fast, 480 grains moving 285 fps. My bow is tuned to absolute perfection. I can keep fixed heads with field points out to about 80 before they start fall off from the difference in drag.

I shoot blazers for the same reason Bill is saying they’re a problem, they’re more forgiving when you’re shitting your pants. Read that as bow isn’t tuned because you’re doing something different.

I’ve told this story ad nauseam but here it goes again. Had a limb blow up on a hunt once. Was shooting lower profile 4 fletch vanes at the time. I hiked out to buy a bow. It needed a shim flipped to tune broadheads past 30 with my arrows but I didn’t have the time or tools to do it. My hunting partner shot the exact same shaft except his had 3 blazers. I screwed my iron will broadheads on his extra arrows with blazers and was dead nuts to 60. Killed a bull the next day, with three pass throughs the pump station.
