Got a 21" 1-7" .223 barrel coming for the Tikka. The idea is to feed it 88's and kill stuff. Up until now, I've been shooting 75 amax over Lever out of a stock 1-8" Tikka tube, at 2900. I haven't messed with anything heavier in the .223 before, so I really don't know what sort of velocity I should be looking for. Maybe 2650-2700?

we shall see. I like how Lever meters, but I might try some H4895 to see if how it does, while being more temp stable.

If you don’t already have one You will probably need a mag that offers a longer coal than factory to get the 88s seated far enough out to get enough powder in the case. Along with a lot of freebore.
