Hi All, just got back from Alaska for Brown Bear (unsuccessful). My only gear failure my Gloves. I had Kuiu Yukon Pro and they were soaked thru day 1 of seven. Once wet, nothing will dry up there. What are the effective alternatives. I was so disappointed I actually left them there in gear shack for hunters that arrive and forgot something.

Anything will have the risk of leaking. Look at the issues people have with boots leaking. I have some Yukon gloves and before going to AK I took them and 2 others to the sink and held my hands under water while flexing my hands for a few minutes. The Yukon were the only ones to not leak. You could check some of the brands marketed to fishing.

If you're set on waterproof gloves I've heard good things about these:
Showa waterproof gloves

I've found it hard to dry out waterproof gloves if they do get wet on the inside, so I've used liner gloves that dry easily inside of a waterproof shell mitt. Other than the annoyance of not having individual fingers, it has worked well for me.
