Real life scams , whats the best you've seen ?

Do any of you recommend a scam protection service for personal use thats actually legit?
My father in just had 80k hacked out of his local credit union account.The credit union can see some multiple odd accounts it went in to but said it was processed thru his home ip address.There not helping him much.

In a case like that, sounds like your father needs some form of security/media literacy training since he likely installed some malware or otherwise enabled remote access to his system.

That's a real thing though. I have a buddy who's my age, mid 40s. He uses some app and hooks up with all sorts of single mothers like a few every week. Some of them are pretty hot.

personally, Im married and id absolutely never entertain a single mother but my buddy sure has a good time with it. he even said the majority of the women want absolutely nothing to do with him afterwords, they just thank him and leave. He did say though that a lot of them have ozempic vagina.

My dumb ass got gotten with some shite like that when I was in college. I put my name in every damned "free drawing" box there was at the local hunting/fishing expo. Call came in saying i won it from the expo but they just needed a CC # for incidentals or something. I came to shortly after hanging up and called the credit card company to dispute. People called me for YEARS after trying to get me back into it.
 
The entire Israel and military industrial complex driven "war on terror". $8+ TRILLION and counting, thousands of American lives, allegedly over a million non-american lives, the patriot act and race towards a total surveillance state. To replace Al Qaeda with Al Qaeda and dump refuges into Europe and America. But we need to attack Iran..

This is a joke if you can’t tell… although I would almost be in favor of dropping a boat load of small arms off to the people in Iran and letting them sorting it out

I don’t think we have given civilian population in Iran small arms yet, we have armed Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, several central and south American countries, and several indo pacific… those haven’t ended well… but Ayatollah’s regime murdering 35k plus in a weekend, seems like the people are hungry for a change…

Really hoping to not get involved in any endless wars anytime soon… or at least not until I can stake some massive positions in military and tech companies… lolz
 
Don't buy vanilla visas,thats what alot of them use and why most of the stores that sell them require you pay in cash.You can set up some accounts to where it takes 2 people to withdraw more than a set amount.If bank not helping you be sure and file police reports with your local and state agencies and keep on the bank. Another good thing to do as I found out when bidding on a utv. It wasn't a stupid price just decent price.The page switched to their website and I didn't catch it.Then that afternoon a friend said whenever he is bidding on something from a company he goes to google earth, street view and sees if that company is there. Mine wasn't,I filed reports and called his bank in Tempe AZ. Must have got lucky as the feds froze his account that night and I got my money back.
 
Watching "electricians" talk every person with an electrical issue, into a whole new panel. It's disgusting how these companies pay their employees now. Most big outfits here in Az, pay their guys commission/ piece work. I'm on a new crusade to verify the "bad panel" before I de-eneegize them. When the electrician starts stuttering, you know he's full of shit.
 
This happened to my dad's mom's daughter. She is 60yrs old. She met Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees on an online website somewhere. He was living in Florida and wanting to meet and live with her. They were "in love". She took out a personal loan and sent him the money. She took out a loan on her car and sent him. She borrowed money from whoever she could to send him. He was needing all of this money to help buy them a house in a bigger city 1.5hrs from her.


Well, he finally got her that house bought. He sent her the address and the garage code to get it. It was fully furnished and ready to go. So she drives up there, gets in and makes herself at home. But...... when the actual owners came home and she was asleep in thier bed. She spent the next 3 months in jail. Still on probation. Everyone tried to tell her that it was a scam. But she would get down right mean and said they were in love and we would see.

Woah that’s some dateline movie type stuff. Pretty sick what some scammers do!
 
Bank called me the other day, seriously. Said they noticed suspicious activity in sc. I live in va. But I was just in a foreign country for a resort style vacation. They asked if I spent xxxx amount at Best Buy in sc. I told them no, they said there are two transactions one for 4.00 and one for 1500. I said nope. He said awesome, we wanna catch thee fraudsters. Can you log into your account and tell me how much is in there so we can make sure we’re both looking at the same thing. Then I look at the number and it’s a Vermont area code not a 1800 number although Vermont is 1802. I said I can’t access it at the moment. He said I’m gonna text you a link to click and then I need you to log on, the link ended with some odd shit and I said my phones dying, call me back in 5. He said sir, we don’t have time yiur account is being compromised.

I hung up and called my bank they said nope, it’s a scam. The dude didn’t stop calling for like 30 min.

Ironically enough I left the house right after and went to gas station and a white van pulled up and asked if I wanted to buy and home entertainment systems hahahahaah. I was like na pimp! People still use that shit?
