In a case like that, sounds like your father needs some form of security/media literacy training since he likely installed some malware or otherwise enabled remote access to his system.Do any of you recommend a scam protection service for personal use thats actually legit?
My father in just had 80k hacked out of his local credit union account. The credit union can see some multiple odd accounts it went in to but said it was processed thru his home ip address. There not helping him much.
That's a real thing though. I have a buddy who's my age, mid 40s. He uses some app and hooks up with all sorts of single mothers like a few every week. Some of them are pretty hot. That there are hot singles in my area that want to meet me
My dumb ass got gotten with some shite like that when I was in college. I put my name in every damned "free drawing" box there was at the local hunting/fishing expo. Call came in saying i won it from the expo but they just needed a CC # for incidentals or something. I came to shortly after hanging up and called the credit card company to dispute. People called me for YEARS after trying to get me back into it.When I was in college, I once listened to a girl give all of her information, credit card, etcetera to someone over the phone because she had "won a cruise." She had to be on the phone for at least an hour. I was sure it was a scam but never heard anything of it afterwards.
It will be different this timeThe entire Israel and military industrial complex driven "war on terror". $8+ TRILLION and counting, thousands of American lives, allegedly over a million non-american lives, the patriot act and race towards a total surveillance state. To replace Al Qaeda with Al Qaeda and dump refuges into Europe and America. But we need to attack Iran..
Kidney stones are horrible arent they?I pay $627 every two weeks (that's after my employer kicks in) for my young, healthy wife and I to have health insurance. An ER visit that consisted of not much more than a urine test, blood work, an ultrasound, and several hours of waiting still cost us almost $4500 out of pocket. When I tried to negotiate with the hospital for paying in full they told me it was already "discounted" from over $12,000 because of my insurance.
Hospitals and health insurance are the best real life scams I've ever seen.
Anything our politicians are telling us…everyday.
