Razors 10X42 CD Cabelas's intics Euro 10X42

I'm looking for help deciding in some vortex razors hd 10X42 vs Cabela's euros 10X42 thanks

There are a lot of guys that know and understand way more about optics than me, but when I was looking, out of the 2 you listed, I preferred the euro's.

My buddy and I were at cabelas recently and looked through a bunch of binos including those 2. looked at animals in the light, shadows, targets with bullet holes, and the heat pipes painted brown crinkle in both light and shadow. They had some Zeiss Conquests 10x42 that were clearer and brighter. I was not real impressed with the Vortex at all. We also looked through the $2k Swaros and Zeiss and they were really impressive but hard to see over a $1k difference. Those cheap Zeiss Terras were impressive too.

IMO Cabelas/Meopta over Razors every time.

Once you factor in the edge distortion, they have a smaller FOV.

I was in your shoes a few months ago, I went with the Meoptas

And weight savings in the Razors favor.

I preferred the Meostar over the Razor. I preferred the CA control and overall build quality.

I went with the Vortex Viper 10x42's. I couldnt tell a difference between them and the razors to justify the extra money.
