Razor HDs vs UHD

Just know that if you are looking at Razor UHD 42mms, it is not hard to find Swaro EL's for not much more money. Pretty easy to find 8.5 or 10x42 EL's for $1800-$2000.

I just took in a pair of EL's I am anxious to test. The first pair I have owned.

I think one big thing about EL's even if someone somehow finds them comparable to the UHDs is that they will pretty much never lose value. The prices will go up some each year on either the current EL's or the revised models and a clean pair will be worth $1800ish forever. Vortex stuff drops in value like a rock.

That said, a pair of 15-18x binos are on my list this year and the UHD 18s are on the short list for sure.
