I purchased the RAZCO ROMR earlier this rifle season to replace the Marsupial Holster I used with my small, magnetic, Marsupial bino harness. While I loved the bino harness and accessory pouches, the Marsupial holster left something to be desired. It tended to swing when walking fast, squeak after a week or so into the season at the molle, and several times the snap had come undone in the field with the revolver falling out. That's no good.

I used the ROMR for a while. I would clip the harness into the holster but didn't like the accessory pouches flopping around. The extra strap annoyed me for securing the pouches though, it just never was comfortable. I liked the fit and ride height when the bino harness clipped into the holster. Using the extra strap on the holster instead was just as annoying for me. I simply didn't like the extra straps, especially wearing a pack.

Looking on Marsupial's web site I saw their Pack Strap Kit. Using that strap/ buckle with the Tri Glide for the accessory pouches and hooking it into the main harness strap has been great. A few elastic keepers added, made by my daughter, was icing on the cake.

I'll be ordering a few more ROMR holster shells to go with the system. This is the best answer yet, I've found to carying a handgun in the field while hunting with a pack.

I handgun hunt some too while still hunting. Not super productive but a lot of fun. Placing your draw thumb on the body side of the holster allows you to draw very quietly. With all the snow and ice this season, I can keep my hands free until I am ready to actively stalk or shoot something. Yet the holster retains the revolver very securely.

Highly recommended combo if you are in the market!

Do you have any better pictures of this set up? This seems interesting and Iā€™d like to see more about this.

Best I've got. The original Marsupial harness snaps into the holster down low. The extra tri glide buckle/strap from Marsupial fits above the lower buckle and buckles into the accessory pouch.20241128_071302.jpg
