Looking for a Rangefinder to pair with my Swarovski NL Pure 10x. Prior to this year, I used EL Ranges so glass and rangefinder was one unit, but the glass to me in my NLs is better than my older EL ranges and wanting to go two separate units and give it a shot. Looking at the Revic BR4, Sig Kilo5 and Sig Kilo 8k. Primarily use will be for getting an accurate range and ballistics solution but also interested in the OnX mapping capabilities the Sig offers. One of three hunts this fall will be in AK and I’m sure fog will be present at times. Any user feedback on the units I mentioned above? Pros, Cons, Ext?

Just made this exact swap. Came from 10x el range to 10x52 nl pure. Paired it with the leica crf pro and am happy. Great glass too

I had the Br4 and the 8k. If it was for rifle use only I would have kept the br4. But being I use it for rifle and archery hunting I kept the 8k.
How does the Mapping work on the 8K?

I have a Leupold Fulldraw 4 that I use for Archery hunting which serves its purpose there, but no problems replacing it with the Sig8 or 5K.

Not 100% sure. But I honestly think its kind of gimmicky, the little I have played with it i don't think it does anything that you couldn't already do anyway. Maybe I am missing something though.

I would never give up range finding in my hand-usable binoculars for rifle hunting. I'm not a bird watcher. If the glass in my Leica 10x42 Geovid R's wasn't good enough to see animals at normal spotting ranges while walking around, I would get new eyes before I invested in better glass without RF capability.

I’ve had Leica and Revic…..like the Revic better . Also I spent over 70 hours glassing on a mule deer hunt last year. I might have ranged only 10 times. So I don’t plan on having a combo range and bino model. Glass is more important
