Wondering if anyone here can help me out.

I just purchased the following rifle system:
20" Fierce MTN Reaper chambered in 7mm PRC (grouped with Hornady 175 gr ELDX)
Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 - F1 - Mil-C - C625
Fierce - Carbon Fiber Bipod - Quick Detach Picatinny Rail Lever Head
ZEISS - Precision Rings w/Bubble level - 30mm tube - Medium 1.0" height.
Garmin - Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

I currently also have a Leupold RX7 Full-draw rangefinder and a Kestrel 1000 wind meter.
The main purpose for this system will be Montana Elk hunting and recreational long range target shooting in Ontario.
For context I cant see shooting farther than 1200 yards at a target and probably less than half of that at a game animal.

My questions come down to this:
1. Should I buy the Kestral 5700 ballistics with LiNK (I'm only inputting one rifle into this so I'm thinking i don't really need the elite?) and a Sig Kilo 5k or a Leica CRF 2800.COM?
2. Should I keep what I have and just manually enter the wind and pull weather data off the closest weather station and altitude off the gps. (I know this can vary significantly from your physical location.
3. go with a revic range finder and manually enter the information from the kestral 1000

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ultimately having all this data and capability should ensure that with my luck an elk will walk out less than 50 yards away lol.

I would get a rangefinder with good onboard ballistics and do basic mph gun method rather than messing with a kestrel for every wind hold. https://www.recoilweb.com/wind-wizardry-bc-wind-formula-for-long-range-shooting-154618.html
The new sig10k and revic binos are awful nice for wind hold stuff too but that is more expensive and i still wouldn’t want to have to rely on that all the time because it takes time too.

Kestrel with AB is nice but i never use it in any application where time matters.

I would just get the revic and then pull a wind MPH from the kestrel to enter into it.

You don't need to manually enter anything else into the revic from your kestrel. The on board ballistics are excellent as long as you put accurate in.

I have a kilo5k and a 6k 8x32, the 5k is pretty dim in low light and is a backup to my 6k. I also have an older crf-1600 that is still a great handheld with zero issue with image at low light so I’d bet any Leica handheld will beat on the sig handhelds for image and low light. Now that I’ve played with both I’m only carrying the 6k. The sig ranging though is super powerful and fast af. Revic sounds like a good one also, the 6k hdx gen 2 be worth a look to. I only use the ab ultralight for solutions up to 875. I don’t shoot past 600 much.
