Currently I use Leica geovids for range finding then use some app or dope card to determine scope adjustments. I am considering going back to standard binos and a separate range finding option. The revic br4 seems to have great reviews but its really expensive so I guess Im questioning if its really worth the cost.

Is the clarity of the br4 glass comparable to higher end range finding units?
Is it easier to use the br4 independently or do you have to use it in conjunction with the app?
Do you think the br4 is worth the cost ($1400)?
Have you had any issues with the br4?

I say put the $1400 and the money from your Leica and get the best RF bino with solution on board and Bluetooth to phone and devices.

The convenience of ranging from binos is huge for me. I use the RF capabilities much more inside my bino. Also makes easier when spotting and ranging hard to see deer.

I run the 10x Fury AB and Garmin watch, and 18x bino as my glassing system. Overall is better in so many considerations, total weight, ease of use, size of bino harness/pouch, etc.
