Ranching for Wildlife Elk Tag 2021

Just a follow up to close out this thread for now. Candace was successful in drawing this Unit 61 Bull tag. However, we also BOTH drew Cow Moose tags for this year. With limited days available to spend in the field, she opted for the Moose this go around. We'll be returning the 61 Bull Elk tag and getting her points restored. I appreciate everyone's input on this and I'll put her in for Elk in 61 in 2022.

For anyone searching Agner online and finding this tread.

I hunted the Agner Mountain ranch tag this year. I blew every elk point I had accumulated in my entire adult life. Either sex. Packet said in plain English that it would be a guided hunt. They clowned me from the get-go. Started talking crap as soon as I walked up to thier table at Ace hardware. Told me I should've gone back to Morgan Creek ranch, when I mentioned I had a great pronghorn hunt with them earlier this year. Denied me a guide. Gave me a pin to hunt from. Ranch contact refused to tell me their name. Field they stuck me in had no cover for miles in every direction. I was able to glass up deer from miles away. Saw a few pronghorn move through. No elk. LOTS OF HUNTERS, 7 people in my "unit". Seen less crowded urinals at halftime at a broncos game. After 3 days I asked to be moved, also on day 5. Both requests were responded to with "let me see" then no response for days. After 6 days, I just went home. I spent a decade doing leftover hunts and b tags for the opportunity to hunt a bull elk. Been dreaming of this hunt for a decade. Hundreds spent on fuel, time off from work, lodging in Craig, food every day. Was a huge financial hit. I'm crushed, extremely sad, and angry. We have a small child with cancer, this was my escape. I really could of used the meat. Do not blow points or money on Murphy Ranch or Agner Mountain ranch. What a letdown.

Morgan Creek blew me away. Way beyond my expectations. Can't praise them enough.
