Have you tried Varget? Big Game is great, but far from the only powder that can give you great velocity and accuracy. 41-41.5g and 140 AB's is where I'm at in a couple of Tikka 7-08s.

I have heard of a guy who prefers mag primers with any H4350 load and says he has velocity data that always shows more consistent es and sd. It seems like his 6.5 creed loads increased by 20 fps with mag primers.

Varget is my #2 choice for accuracy but a significant drop in velocity compared to BG.

How long is your barrel? I had a similar issue with a 20 inch barreled 7mm-08 and swapped it for a 24”

I see u tried AB and ELDX. Have you tried any Barnes?

Nope not yet. Really want to try to make the Accubond work first, loaded up with some Varget today so we’ll see.

Now I’m getting somewhere. Took the most accurate of the mag primer ladder with the 140 Accubonds and compared to 4 different BG loads from max down to 46 gr with regular LRP primers(fiocchi). Also tried a couple Varget loads just to see. I’m liking the looks of the 46 gr and 47.5 gr BG with LRP loads, promising. I may just call it good with the 47.5 and move forward since it’s a hunting load only. 2.805 coal.
