Neighbors ram Truck has issues when turning.

Makes a hammering noise when he cuts the wheels normal and turns. No noise if wide turn.

He's gone as far as feeling the tires when turning and moving, says he feels a sharp rap but no restriction to movement or any kind of hindrance.

Anyone got any suggestions, ideas what it is?

The newer Ram has a hard steering stop that makes contact with the steering knuckle under full lock turning and going over bumps. If that is what he is experiencing, no big deal and is a common question on various Ram forums.

Stock tires. No rubbing.

I don't have a lot of info. He's replaced the bearings and break pads. Running aftermarket rotors. Even tried video equipment to see if anything is rubbing, hitting, etc.

Driving the guy nuts.

I'll pass the steering stop info along.

Thanks guys!
