Ram headlight replacement recommendations

I have a crack in one and condensation in the other, looking to replace the whole modules not just the bulbs. They're dim too so I want an upgrade in brightness but I don't want to drive around blinding other drivers. Anybody got recommendations for a setup that's brighter but projects correctly and not bright-lighting everyone on the road?

When looking you want to type in "Full Replacement head lights" We have a 98 Dodge same way half the time a match would be brighter. I just haven't gotten around to paying the money for a full new set.
We had busted up all the mirrors finally typed in full replacement and found something that works and you can see out of. I wasn't paying the $1,000 they wanted for the same thing that broke and died.

lol I can't afford that much of a headlight replacement! I'd like to get it done as inexpensively as possible, right now looking at a set of full replacement LED assemblies for $300 but it's Amazon chinesium for sure. I probably won't go over $400 without good reason but the less the better.

Honestly... Those can be pretty decent if you take the time to adjust them.

That is exactly the obnoxious oncoming blinding you're trying to avoid.

Amazon return policy is also great, I wouldn't be scared to get a set and try them.

I went ahead and ordered those $299 Amazon full replacement buckets. I'll let yall know how it goes.

Whatever you do, avoid plugging LED bulbs into incandescent(halogen) reflector bodies.
That is exactly the obnoxious oncoming blinding you're trying to avoid.

Yeah I got the whole assemblies. This one is LED and had a cutoff on top so the light has a straight line on the top with low beams. Seems like it could work out well if I do my part to adjust them correctly so oncoming traffic is above the line in the dark spot. High beams look like a spotlight in the middle.

Let us know how you like them. I replaced my 18 2500 with some of the entry level Alpha Rex and absolutely hate them.

That concerns me, the odds of the Chinesium Amazon brand I bought being better than those are slim. I'll get some pics while installing and update the thread.

I put alpha Rex in my 3rd gen and they were horrible as well. Needed to run a canbus box since dodge never put fuse boxes in those trucks. Needless to say I went back to oem housings and upgraded halogen bulbs.

There is a lighting engineer on Tacomaworld that always answers my lighting questions on vehicles and saves me time, energy, and money on headlights when I needed to replace one or thought about upgrading.

I went with replacing the entire housing because I read nothing but nightmare stories about replacing just the bulbs. Seemed I couldn’t find a brand that didn’t have most of the reviews claiming they randomly burning out or flickering.

I’m stuck with what I have for now. I had to drop my grill guard and winch three times installing these (instructions were incorrect and you cannot aim them without taking the entire assembly out again). I don’t have it in me to do it again, rather sell the truck
Brights are ok but lows are about the same as the 8 year old dying stock ones I replaced.

I've been rocking cheap housings in both the tacoma and a 99 ford. Compared to how bad the originals were, anything was an improvement.

Did stick some baja designs stuff down in the bumper. That helped a lot. And aimed right, nobody ever flashes lights at me.
