Raise.com anyone?

So I was checking out raise.com for some discounted gift cards. It says that gift cards cannot be used for gift card purchase. Anyone have experience with them? I was looking to buy a bunch of different values then go to the merchants website and purchase 1 for X amount instead of having 3 or 4 smaller ones.

I bought a bunch once for a home improvement project. About half of the cards didn't work. They were great about refunding me, but it was still a disappointment.

Have bought a few with no problems so far. The not being able to buy a gift card with a gift card no idea.

I just discovered raise.com about a month ago. I’ve purchased about 20 different gift cards so far and the only issue I had was not realizing one of them was online only. Other than that I love it and I pretty much use their gift cards for every purchase I can now.

Also sign up for ebates and you get 1% cash back(sometimes 2%) on your Raise gift card purchase and then make sure you also have ebates enabled on the merchant site when you make the actual purchase with the gift card. Combining that with my every day 2% cash back Visa card when I purchase the gift card on Raise quickly adds up to some good savings.
